There’s two important dimensions to keep in mind with the MagikFlame insert. The first is the overall size and the second is the viewable area. For instance, the technology that makes for the holographic fire effect is hidden in the top 10″ inches of the insert.
The overall size of the insert is 28” inches wide by 32” inches tall and 12” inches deep, with a viewable area of 28” in by 22” in. So, you will frame in or trim over those top 10”. This part does not need to be visible. If your opening is wider than that you can use wood, marble, granite, or any material of your choice to surround the insert making it look like a built-in.
