Maybe. The basis for our technology does rely on projecting a video of fire onto a piece of glass. That piece of holographic glass is at a 45-degree angle over the logs. So, for instance, you see the fire in the glass, but you do not see the glass itself, instead, you see the logs behind the glass, and the fire on the glass makes it look like those logs are burning. I don’t believe that the flames look like they are at an angle, but the glass itself is at an angle, which is required for our effect to work.
Most people think our flame technology looks excellent, and there’s nothing on the market quite like it, but it’s up to you to make your own opinion as to the aesthetic look.
Frankly, our fireplace gets you as close to the look of a real flame as any electric fireplace. You will not find anything more realistic without actually setting something on fire. I won’t say it’s indistinguishable from the real thing but it gets you pretty darn close.
