Yes & No. Our fireplace does not use a traditional mirror like a Dimplex Revillusion. We do use a piece of sophisticated holographic glass that can bend light in such a way that we can accurately recreate the look of a fire without loss of color or degradation. It does have some mirror-like qualities but a reflection cannot be seen when viewing at a proper viewing angle, which is several feet away, and straight on.
The holographic glass then becomes invisible and what you get is a very realistic fire effect not seen with any other fireplace. The bottom line is you won’t see anything that looks like a mirror. Just a life-like, realistic, beautiful flame on a log set.
