Experiment with numerous combinations of ember bed lighting colors for the perfect ambience. Further illuminate the logs from the top side for an added warm glow in colors of your choice. The flames come to life with this fireplace like no other. Experience the actual sounds of crackling and popping logs and the hiss of fire for a better than real experience. Blended with our technology the sound of fire elevates this fireplace to a whole new level of realism not seen anywhere else.
The flames are what draw you in. The warmth is what keeps you there. A heater works alongside your central heating to take the chill off the room you're actually in — sink into the couch and the air around you is already softening. When you want the ambiance without the heat, the flames stand on their own. Either way, the room becomes the one you don't want to leave. Supplemental heat source. Indoor use only.
We combine the latest LCD video based technology with specially coated optical grade glass to create a realistic and authentic flame display, where the flames appear to come from between the logs with utter realism -- in superior quality and detail. Many electric fireplaces display flames behind the logs — DragonBlaze creates the illusion of flames burning between the logs for a more immersive look. This creates a more immersive viewing experience.
For the utmost in realism our flames are filmed from real fires and digitally enhanced with rolling smoke and burning embers, just like a real wood burning fireplace, for unprecedented detail and realism in flame recreation. These small details add to the engagement of flames with frequent, random sparks, rising embers, and plumes of wispy smoke to keep the flames mesmerizing.
Our high-quality video screens are capable of high-definition video output so that you can admire and appreciate all the fine details in our flames, with exceptional clarity and detail. Never miss a frame of beauty or intricate details with superior “near lossless” data compression, for uncompromised high-definition video playback that will soothe and mesmerize when fully taken in.
Adjust the built-in flames to suit any mood with 7 color variations. From the traditional wood fire burning look, to modern gas fireplaces, to overly and under-saturated options, the DragonBlaze has flame options to suit any mood and match most décors with ease.
Designed for configurable viewing options to suit near any type of installation. Built to be recessed and installed the way you want it. DragonBlaze looks phenomenal as a single sided fireplace, but can be further enhanced by removing either of the side metal trim panels, revealing side glass, making it possible to use this Insert in a double to even three-sided viewing configuration.
Fully adjustable and configurable flame speed controls let you dial in how quickly your flames dance upon the logs. Adjust the flame speed, to slow them down for a more meandering look. The flame speed playback is adjustable to your liking.
Colorize your DragonRocks to just about any color you like with 13 color options and an off position. The DragonRocks are “under-lit” and can be illuminated in almost any color to appear as if they are glowing hot coals, or can be even set to blue to simulate modern fireplaces. The color modes are varied, and provide over a dozen different looks to suit your refined tastes.
A dedicated set of red, pulsating LED lights are built into the bottom trim of the fireplace to simulate the under-light of burning and smoldering coals. They are programmed to subtly pulsate ever so slightly to mimic the look of actual burning coals, and can be turned on or off to your liking for another layer of configurability.
We designed the DragonBlaze fireplace with customization and configurability first and foremost. Position, stack, and rotate the included pine logs to your liking, or even use your own Birch logs, or just about any other fire medium, including reclaimed driftwood, to make your ember bed completely your own design, and tailored to your unique look.
Fire is not complete without sound. Our audio engineers used professional microphones and recording equipment to digitally record actual wood burning and crackling sounds, so you can experience fire the way it was meant to be, with a complete audible soundscape like real flames.
In order to accurately reproduce the sound of fire, our engineers selected high-quality speakers that can re-create the authentic crackling of fire with minute subtle details, in order to bring the campfire experience into your living room, without the smoke and mess.
Beautiful logs are the central focal point of any fireplace, and the DragonBlaze delivers premium, hand crafted, sculpted and painted logs that are molded from real charred and burned pine logs, and hand painted, for a super detailed and realistic appearance that elevates any room.
To simulate the look of an authentic fireplace we have designed and engineered our real glass DragonRocks to look like fragments of burned wood and smoldering coals. While others use plastic, we use real chipped glass chunks, painted on one side black to look charred, and shiny on the other for a wide range of display options and quality appearance.
To further illuminate the interior of the DragonBlaze Insert, we have included a bank of down-facing LED lights to illuminate your firewood and DragonRocks with a variety of colors to bring out the rich details of the medium and add further configurability options for a unique one-of-a-kind look.
A powerful 5,210 BTU heater is the beating heart of the DragonBlaze's more than capable built-in heating system. Easily take the chill off of a 400 sq/ft room, and even works up to 1,000 sq. ft. in conjunction with your home's central heating system* *Coverage depends on insulation, ceiling height, and ambient temperature., to take the chill off of any room, all year long.* *Heating performance varies based on room insulation, ceiling height, and ambient temperature. Optimal as supplemental heat in well-insulated spaces.
Fall asleep to the gentle roar of life-like fire without the danger and risk. Relax, unwind, and ultimately slumber to the hypnotic dancing flames. Your DragonBlaze Insert can be easily set to turn itself off in a predetermined amount of time so you can rest and not need to worry about powering down your unit before you sleep.
Built to last, the DragonBlaze is coated in high-strength and durable textured black Powder Coating to ensure years of looking brand new, while maintaining resistance to scratches, rust and fingerprints -- while also staying easy to clean. Built in handles make this Insert a synch to move for maintenance or rel-location.
The DragonBlaze can be fully controlled via the included IR remote control from the convenience of your couch or arm-chair. We use remote control technology for the widest use cone and range for your convenience and enjoyment. Control from nearly anywhere. Conveniently runs on standard AAA batteries for quick and easy replacements.
Prefer to get up close and personal with your DragonBlaze? Easily control most vital functions with the built-in, easy to operate control panel, as another way to control and interact with your fireplace. Easily take control of the essentials from the convenient built-in control panel with high-quality rubber membrane buttons for durability and long-life.
The front glass panel of the DragonBlaze has been formulated with high-quality, high-transparency glass, treated for minimal reflections, and heat tempered to add strength and resistance to breaking, for a safer, and more beautiful experience. However, still handle the glass with great care when cleaning or moving.
The DragonBlaze has been engineered with safety in mind for your and your loved ones. It is pet and kid friendly, and can even be operated around the infirm. We do recommend installing a fixed fireplace screen in these situations, but the fireplace is far safer than traditional options, and safer to use around children, pets and the elderly without risk of severe burns.
The DragonBlaze produces zero combustion emissions during operation. Unlike traditional fireplaces, it requires no gas line and creates no combustion byproducts in your living space. Just clean, electric warmth. It can also utilize less electricity than gas heaters to reduce power usage while still adequately heating your home.
Reduce your heating bills significantly by warming only the rooms you are in, with zone heating technology. The DragonBlaze works in conjunction with your home’s central heating system to take the chill off of any room, up to 1,000 sq/ft, and can lower your power bill by giving you the option to warm the room you are in specifically, rather than the entire home, for increased efficiency.
Built with long-term use in mind, the DragonBlaze features LED lights throughout. These types of bulbs are far more efficient, cool running, and long-lasting than the halogen bulbs, found in other electric fireplaces. These high efficiency lights are engineered for many years of uninterrupted service, and will keep your power bill down, with their low power draw and ultra long life span, ensuring years of trouble free illumination.
Competing fireplaces use a mechanical mechanism of rotating reflectors and light passed through a “flame like” silhouette to produce their flames. The result is very fake looking and will not be mistaken for a real fire.
Many competing fireplaces ship with either no logs or low quality logs. They are generally formed as one piece in a plastic mold machine, lack subtle details, can easily crack, and are not painted for additional realism.
Plastic rocks are less expensive to produce and manufacture. They are not as transparent as glass, and light passes through them with less specular highlights and clarity to glass, which is superior to plastic.
We use high quality, high-definition video displays to play back actual video of real fire, shot and captured with professional video cameras to pick up every detail. Playback is in HD so you do not lose any subtle detail of realistic dancing flames.
We use premium sculpted logs sampled from real charred wood fireplace logs, in order to capture every subtle detail like wood grain, bark, knots and charred wood. The logs are then hand-painted to appear partially burned.
We use GLASS rocks in our fireplace for superior clarity, and reflective capabilities. Glass has superior light transmission properties to plastic, and has crisp, hard edges, vs a rounded look for a premium appearance.
