No. Our insert is 28” in wide, which is wide enough for most people. Even with a large wall 28” in is generally sufficient. Keep in mind with our fireplace the flame effect is extremely realistic. Even though it might be a little bit smaller than you were expecting, the amazing fire effect makes the compromise of being a little bit smaller worth it. There is nothing else on the market that comes even remotely close to the realism of our product.
At the end of the day people will focus on the flames and you can build a nice large mantle or hearth around the product and maybe even add a base to make it appear much larger or more grand as the center point of your living room.
