What if I’m on vacation and not there?

Notify Us. If you will be on vacation and not available to receive your fireplace it is your responsibility to let us know before we ship your product. If you ordered a mantel package you will need to be there to sign for it. The freight company cannot hold your fireplace for any more than a few days or they will start to charge warehouse fees which will then be passed on to you. We want to avoid this.

If you ordered an insert then FedEx will deliver that without calling. We do not want your fireplace sitting unattended while you’re on vacation. Please make sure to call us and tell us to hold your fireplace before shipping until you will be home.

It’s better to have the order on hold with us then ship it when you’re not there. Simply give us a call when you’re ready and we’ll get your fireplace shipped out to you ASAP.
