Built-in Touchscreen or iPhone app. The fireplace can be completely operated using either the built-in touchscreen or the iPhone app. A remote control is included with the fireplace, but that is not the primary means for controlling the fireplace.
Instead, use the backlit color touchscreen built into the top right-hand side of the fireplace. You can also use your iPhone to control most functions of the fireplace right from your smartphone from any room.
