Yes & No. Our fireplace works with solid-state electronics. That means it’s a video projection technology that does not rely on moving parts. It makes it very reliable as it will not wear down and break over time. However, there is a small motor in the heater that’s required to produce the heat output. This can be inexpensively replaced if needed. It’s never come up before with one of our fireplaces. We have not shipped a replacement motor since we been selling this fireplace.
