Fireplace Screen. If you have small children around the fireplace we recommend installing a traditional fireplace screen in front of your fireplace. If it was a traditional wood combustion fireplace a fireplace screen would be placed in front to keep burning embers from going into your room and starting a fire. The same type of screen can be used with our fireplace to keep children out. It will keep them from touching the glass which will reduce the possibility for breakage and it will further increase the realism because a real combustion fireplace would have this as well.
