Yes. A remote control is included with the modern electric fireplace, but that is not the primary means for controlling the fireplace. Instead, use the backlit color touchscreen built into the top right-hand side of the fireplace. You can also use your iPhone to control most functions of the fireplace right from your smartphone in any room.
