MagikFlame is very different from other fireplaces on the market. For instance, our fireplaces are built in the United States, while our competitors build theirs in China. We pay our workers a wage that they can live on, and we use top-quality components throughout our fireplace for longevity and reliability. As a premium fireplace manufacturer, we build our product like a tank and design it to last for many years without requiring expensive replacement parts. Something very important to consider is how we generate our flames versus how others create their fire effect. For example, other fireplaces use an inexpensive Chinese electric motor that will wear out and breakdown over time, as metal on metal bushings will breakdown eventually. These motors cost anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars and are not very reliable.
Our fireplace uses solid-state electronics. This means that we do not rely on moving parts to produce our fire effect. Because there are few moving parts there is little to break. We use LED and LCD technology in our fireplaces. LED lights have been rated to last up to 15 years, while LCD technology is very reliable. It’s the same thing that’s used in modern high-definition televisions. Newer televisions generally don’t break, you just upgrade and get a bigger one. Also, we have a built-in touchscreen, similar to what you might find in a $1,000 iPhone. On top of that, we have a small computer inside of your fireplace that has a built-in CPU, a graphics processor, memory, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. That’s how we can update your fireplace over time to keep it current as we release new features and functions for free. The technology we use to make an extremely realistic fire costs more, but we mark it up far less than our competitors. Therefore, our fireplace is a much better value for your money, as you actually get technology worth paying for. Others will charge you an arm and a leg for what is basically some sheet metal, plastic molded logs, and an inexpensive Chinese motor that’s marked up an asinine amount.
At the end of the day, our flame technology is superior to any fireplace on the market and you get what you pay for. We build in small batches by hand and are not mass-produced on an automated assembly line so all units are thoroughly tested and checked for quality before they ship. In my opinion, and correct me if I’m wrong, there’s no reason to own an electric fireplace that doesn’t look and feel real if it’s just a cheesy light show, so what’s the point?
