Very. There is a small fan in the heater that blows hot air into the room. It’s a whisper quiet fan and makes very little noise. Generally, you can not hear it once you back up from the fireplace a few feet, and it is generally not audible over the crackling and popping sounds. There is no fan noise when the heater is turned off.
