It Depends. Insert Only: The insert itself is completely assembled. All you have to do is plug in the electric log set and install the holographic glass, which is only two screws. Then simply plug the fireplace into the wall, and it’s ready to use.
Mantel Package: Our mantel packages do require some assembly. In order to protect them as well as we can during shipping, we ship them unassembled so that we can put lots of Styrofoam and cardboard to protect the mantel in transit to you. It goes together very simply, like any other piece of furniture.
If you can turn a screwdriver, you will be able to assemble our mantels in 20 to 30 minutes. It can be done with one person, but we recommend two. The only tool that is required is a screwdriver. Complete installation instructions with diagrams are included.
