For most people, the size of our viewable area is more than sufficient. At 28” in wide by 22” in tall our fireplace insert is by no means small. Most of our customers, find the size to be satisfactory.
The most important consideration when installing an electric fireplace is the realism of the flames. There’s absolutely nothing else on the market that comes even remotely close to the realism of the flames that our fireplace insert can produce. It may be a little bit smaller than what you had in mind, but the flames themselves look just about real, and that means a lot. It may be a trade-off being slightly smaller than you expected but the realism of the fire along with the sound makes for a fantastic experience that overshadows the size.
If you were to put any other electric fireplace into your opening it would look like a fake light show, and is really not at all appealing as it will look nothing like fire the ways ours does.
You can check on YouTube to see how fake other fireplaces look compared to ours. Please take this into consideration when thinking about the size as it’s not the only thing that matters in my opinion.
