When Affirm says no fees, they mean it. That means no late fees, no prepayment fees, no annual fees, and no fees to open or close an account. You'll never owe more than what you agree to up front — instead, you'll always get a flexible, transparent, and convenient way to pay over time.
The annual percentage rate (APR) on an Affirm loan ranges from 0–36%, determined by Affirm in its sole discretion. Affirm discloses any required fees upfront before you make a purchase, so you know exactly what you'll pay for your financing. Affirm does not charge any hidden fees, including annual fees.
Absolutely. There are no penalties or fees for paying early, and you'll save on any interest that hasn't accrued yet. Payments can be made by downloading the Affirm app or by visiting affirm.com.
A refund will be posted to your Affirm account after we process your refund request. If you have already made loan payments or a down payment, Affirm issues a refund credit to the bank account or debit card you used to make those payments. Affirm does not refund any paid interest. All refunds are subject to the merchant's return policy — a refund credit will appear in your account within 3 to 10 business days, depending on your bank's processing time. MagikFlame's return policy: returns accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee, non-refundable shipping deductions ($250 for inserts, $500 for mantel packages), and customer-paid return shipping. You may not always qualify for the full amount of your purchase. When this happens, Affirm will ask you to make a down payment with your debit card. Affirm will process this payment right after you confirm your loan. After that, your first payment will be due at the usual time based on your selected payment schedule.
Yes. Affirm works hard to be completely transparent. You'll see the amount of interest you'll owe when applying for a loan. If you pay off your loan early, you will not be responsible for paying the interest for the remaining months. Before each payment is due, Affirm will send you an email or SMS reminder with the installment amount and due date. You also have the option to sign up for autopay so you don't risk missing a payment.
